If you've been grinding extraction runs in ARC Raiders, you already know how valuable ARC Raiders Items can feel when your stash is running dry, and Bastion Cells sit near the top of that list. They're one of those materials you never seem to have enough of once upgrades start piling up. The catch is simple: you don't farm them casually. You earn them by dropping Bastion ARC units, then looting with a bit of patience. A lot of players rush the wreck and miss half the payout. The sweet spot is usually the central frame and the machine's core, where the cell drops tend to be strongest. On a good run, seven cells from one Bastion isn't out of the question. Still, it's worth checking the legs and busted armour sections too, especially if the area's gone quiet for a second.
Why Bastion fights get messy fast
The actual fight is only half the problem. The bigger issue is what comes after. Bastions make a ton of noise, and that noise travels. The second you start trading shots with one, you're basically announcing your position to every nearby squad. That's why plenty of experienced players don't force the engagement straight away. They wait. Let another team burn ammo, draw attention, maybe even lose a player, then slide in when the Bastion is low or already down. It sounds dirty, sure, but this game rewards survival, not pride. If you're trying to come home with materials instead of a nice story about how brave you were, third-partying is often the smarter call.
Starting A Rising Tide
Celeste's A Rising Tide quest sends you across two very different areas, and the first part can be easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for. Head to the Buried City first, then work your way to the residential blocks south of Piazza Roma. There's a foreman's apartment there, sealed off enough that the front entrance won't help you much. Instead, look up. The zipline route between the buildings is the real way in, and once you take it, the path makes a lot more sense. Inside the apartment, check the living space for the terminal and download the logbook data. It's quick once you're actually in, but finding the route is what trips most people up.
The flooded section at the Dam
After that, move over to the Dam battlefields. The second objective is tucked away in an underground area you enter by cable car, and the place feels rough the moment you arrive. No power, standing water, low visibility. You'll probably be ankle-deep or worse before you even get your bearings. First job is finding a fuel cell. Most of the time, one is sitting somewhere close by, either near the entry point or in the first room after the zipline. Grab it, head upstairs, and slot it into the power box. Once the lights come back, the room with the tablet is easy enough to spot. Take the photo and that's it. The nice part is your progress saves on the spot, so you don't need to risk a full extract while carrying valuable ARC Raiders Common Material if the lobby starts getting crowded.
